How We Approach Pension Entitlement Work
Each pension matter begins with documentation. Before any correspondence is drafted or any submission prepared, the team assembles the available records — the original award letter, any revision notices, and whatever contribution history the client can provide. This review tells us what the authority appears to have relied upon and where the apparent discrepancy lies.
From that foundation, the appropriate next step becomes clear. In some cases, a single well-drafted letter to the relevant pension body resolves the matter. In others, a formal appeal is necessary, which involves preparing a structured file and representing the client through the administrative hearing process. At each stage, the client is consulted before any step is taken on their behalf.
The practice does not take on matters it does not expect to be able to bring to a clear written conclusion. If the documentation suggests that a claim has no reasonable prospect of success, the team will say so at the consultation stage rather than encourage the client to proceed with further expense.
Service 01
Initial Pension Rights Consultation
A first meeting for clients who would like an unhurried review of their current pension entitlement. The session covers reading of the original award letter, examination of any recent revision or recalculation notices, a written summary of the client's present situation, and a plain-language explanation of the options available. The aim is to give the client a clear understanding of their own position before they decide whether any further action is appropriate.
The meeting may take place in chambers at 145/8 Silom Road or remotely by video call if that suits the client better.
- Reading and explanation of original award letter
- Review of any revision or recalculation notices
- Written summary of current position
- Explanation of options available without obligation
- In-chambers or remote delivery

The aim is to bring the matter to a clear conclusion in writing — whether that involves an adjusted calculation or a documented confirmation that the original figure is correct.
